You'll follow a single-track lane and through a gated entrance to your holiday home; park up and take in the views of the Mawddach Estuary. Step inside your holiday home and head straight to the welcoming kitchen/diner with exposed beams, feature fireplace and a rustic dining table to tuck into a hearty meal. Although keeping its farmhouse character, the kitchen is well-equipped with high-quality, integrated facilities to prepare your favourite recipes, along with a washing machine to clean muddy walking gear. Colder nights can be spent curled up in front of the woodburning stove in the sitting room, which sits in a traditional stone fireplace, with cushioned seats and a TV for your entertainment. Outside, there's plenty of space to enjoy the summer months and those far-reaching views, alongside sheltered bike storage and walking routes on your doorstep. When you return, choose between two shower rooms to refresh in, one of which has a heated towel rail for added warmth. Four well-appointed bedrooms with storage space await to crawl under the sheets and rest up, including two doubles, a 4-ft double with access on one side, and a bunk bed for two younger guests. You'll have the best of the North Wales coast and countryside to explore during your holiday; head into Fairbourne with plenty of shops and eateries to choose from, as well as Fairbourne's pebbled beach, Fairbourne Golf Club and scenic rides along the family-friendly miniature railway. Visit Arthog Waterfalls, spend the day fishing along Cregennan Lake, or hike up the nearby Penygader for dramatic valley views. Dolgellau is another must-visit in the area for traditional Welsh pubs, tea rooms and the local Torrent Walk, a circular path that follows the river Clywedog through its stunning gorge.
