About this property

Resting on the Bennar Headland with breath-taking views over Warren and Harbour Beach in North Wales is the spectacular, detached bungalow of Arwelfa House. Showcasing luxurious décor throughout and within easy reach of Abersoch’s beachside activities, this is the perfect setting for a family of eight’s coastal holiday. Upon entering the property, you will be stunned by its gorgeous open-plan living space, a room that retains a light and airy feel throughout with its large windows and showcasing a range of stylish furnishings. Gather your group around the woodburning stove and warm yourselves up after a fun-filled day at the beach; as you rest on the plush sofas, put on a family-favourite for you all to enjoy on the wall-mounted TV. Pass by the chic dining area, a space home to an oak dining table surrounded by French-inspired, upholstered chairs, to find yourself in an awe-inspiring kitchen. The kitchen not only features a vast selection of appliances, including an American fridge/freezer, but centres around a fabulous, granite-topped island that serves as a breakfast bar, wine chiller and cooking station; this spot is bound to be a foodie’s haven. After enjoying a delectable meal with the family, unwind in two more seating areas that Arwelfa house beholds, including a snug that is home to two fabulous, leather armchairs for you to enjoy a spot of reading on, along with sunroom hosting a large corner sofa that is surrounded by windows that bring those views of the sea into the space. As the day draws to a close, choose between a handful of lovely bedrooms to savour a well-earned rest in, the first one being a super-king-size benefiting from tasteful décor and its own en-suite shower room, the next room being another double that is adorned with neutral tones, as well as a twin room sporting nautical themes; the three rooms boast amazing views, along with abundant storage for your things. Last, but not least, is the master suite, a truly phenomenal room that hosts an iron-framed double, and a look-out area that contains two quality armchairs situated in front of floor-to-ceiling windows that boast panoramic views; be sure to retire here with your loved one and toast to that amazing vista. A spacious bathroom, featuring attractive tiling throughout, can be found close-by where you can choose between freshening up in the contemporary bath or walk-in shower in the morning. In the morning, enjoy a steaming cup of coffee out on the raised decking as you spot Abersoch and Mount Snowdon off in the distance; the extensive lawn and large patio is a great space for the kids to play. Additionally, you can find an enclosed side courtyard where you can grill delights for everyone to enjoy on the Weber barbecue. Take your holiday further and embark on a walk into Abersoch, where you will find pubs, eateries and a plethora of shops at your fingertips; after exploring the picturesque village, venture to the beaches to partake in surfing or boating, or travel along the coast to find the fabulous Abersoch Golf Club. The quaint village of Llanbedrog isn’t far and can be reached by car or on foot, be sure to explore the village’s woodland and heathland where you can spot ample wildlife, before stopping in the Plas Glyn y Weddw Gallery to marvel at the brilliant artwork and relish a sweet treat at the on-site café, continue to the village centre to find a stunning beach to sunbathe on. Progress along the coast to find the bustling, market town of Pwlhelli, with its Marina, beaches and Arts Centre waiting to be explored. The excursion fans of the group will be pleased with the ample walking and cycling trails within the Llŷn Peninsula, including the extensive Wales Coastal Path; why not venture further into the mainland to spend the day at Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park? For a little piece of luxury in a beautiful part of Gwynedd, choose a stay at Arwelfa House.

Abersoch is a picturesque settlement on the shore of North Wales' Llyn Peninsula. Beautiful placement with wonderful views.Easy access to the beach. Three drawbacks two minor one not.Minor one a plug problem meant bathroom sink out of action for a day.Minor two the main fridge lost capacity on Saturday and we lost some food items. Major problem the pile driving on the building site next door creating major noise and plenty of dust making it impossible to use the house closest to the work.Fortunately a heatwave meant beach days .
