Just under an hours drive away is the seaside town of Old Colwyn, enjoy lunch in one of the many restaurants and pubs before a walk along the promenade which winds along the bay from Old Colwyn to Penrhyn Bay, or simply soak in the sunshine on the three miles of sandy beaches. The Victorian town of Llandudno is also around 30 miles away, a traditional resort with an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Admire the incredible views of Anglesey from the summit of the 679ft Great Orme, accessed using the Great Orme Tramway or by cable car. A fabulous, cosy cottage placed perfectly for enjoying the Snowdonia National Park and attractions in North Wales.

Ysbyty Ifan is set among the hills and mountains of the Snowdonia National Park. The village has a church and an old water mill and smithy and the surrounding countryside has wildlife. Six miles away is Betws-y-Coed, a haven for walkers and mountain bikers, the village has waterfalls, river pools, bridges and specialist shops, pubs and restaurants. Portmeirion, Llandudno and Chester are all within touring distance.
