Enjoying a glorious, secluded setting 4 miles from the coast on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, this charming, cosily heated holiday cottage has views to the rear over the lovely Conwy Valley.
It has its own patio and shared use of 6-acre grounds, including a licensed Dutch pancake house, water garden centre and coarse ponds. Conwy lies 4 miles away with a majestic castle, and wealth of craft shops, restaurants and inns. Golf (18-hole), sailing and sea angling are available nearby, as well as a sandy beach at Morfa Conwy. Seaside attractions at Llandudno (7 miles), with cabin lift to the summit of Great Orme, tramway, donkey rides on the beach, sports centres, dry-ski slope and toboggan run. Visit Zip World, which boasts the longest zip wire in Europe. Excellent walking, riding and bird-watching locally, salmon fishing on the Conwy and many scenic drives by dramatic mountain passes. In a great location, nice and peaceful rural setting. Cottage was comfy and well equipped. Has a lovely conservatory, which has wonderful scenic views. Great for relaxing and reading. Good wifi. Some people have commented on previous reviews that the cottage decor is dated, but this is reflected in the price. It is a traditional style cottage in a great location and a good price. If someone wants an ultra modern cottage with hot tub etc and would like to pay two to three hundred pounds more, then this may not be for you. However if you would like a reasonably priced cosy comfy cottage in a great location, and decor is not your priority for a trip away, then this is a good choice.

I would give it 5 stars. But the front door failed to lock the day before we were due to leave.( its just one of those thinks . The heat.) Other than that we had a great week.
