This contemporary holiday home offers an idyllic base for a couple looking for an intimate retreat to North Wales. Stepping into the property, you'll be delighted by the fabulous contemporary yet traditional interior, beautifully-decorated with oak beams, exposed stone work and a rustic woodburning stove, inviting you to nestle in on the sumptuous sofa and enjoy a spot of television, enveloped in the warmth of the fire. The stylish space boasts a gleaming kitchen, fit with all of the essential amenities, including a handy dishwasher, and homing an elegant island that takes center stage, where you can take perch on a stool and enjoy a glass of wine as the designated chef rustles up a romantic meal for two. Board the Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Sherpa bus from Betws-y-Coed to the village of Llanberis, where avid outdoor adventures can tackle the challenging climb to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon), the tallest mountain in Wales, boasting breath-taking views across the scenic National Park as far as the Isle of Man. Has everything you need. Lovely comfortable bed. Wood burner. Bath and shower. It was just perfect. Set in a lovely location. Loved the donkeys. Would definitely stay again.

Everything in the cottage is at such a high standard. Really enjoyed the evenings, drinking red wine in front of a roaring fire. Location is great too. Not far from snowdon and the north wales coast.

It was ideally situated for exploring North Wales. The property has been refurbished to a very high standard. The styling was contemporary whilst retaining some very characterful features. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated. We have no hesitation in recommending the Shippon. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area.
