Snaptrip says

Glan William is a well-received cottage in North Wales, praised for its cleanliness, stylish furnishings, and well-equipped amenities. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches by the owners and the property's convenient location for exploring Snowdonia. Despite minor suggestions for improvements and a temporary issue with the local pub, the cottage's charm and comfort have led to repeat visits and high recommendations.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage is consistently described as immaculately clean, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotless condition. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness maintained by the owners.

The location is frequently praised for its beauty and convenience for exploring the surrounding area, including Snowdonia. The proximity to a train station and walks from the cottage are appreciated, although the temporary closure of the local pub was noted.

The cottage is generally regarded as comfortable, with a special mention of a comfortable bed. However, one review mentioned an uncomfortable double bed, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are well-regarded, with the cottage being described as well-equipped and luxurious. The mention of steep stairs without handrails on both sides indicates a potential area for improvement in safety features.

Guests have noted the thoughtful gestures of the owners, such as a welcome bundle and kitchen essentials. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, although likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

It was situated in very picturesque countryside near to a railway station & shop with good road links. The village pub is undergoing a complete refurbishment, so is not open at present, which was disappointing. The only complaint we have is that the double bed was extremely uncomfortable! This is such an important part of a holiday & would certainly influence our decision to return.

We really enjoyed our stay here and we cannot think of anything that we would wish to complain about. Would stay again in a flash, but as we are in the process of selling our house and moving, we are unsure of when that may be!

The cottage is renovated to a high spec, very cosy, well-equipped and has ample room for parking in front. The shower room on the ground floor is an extra plus, in our case allowing one bathroom per couple. We were very lucky with the weather (so the locals kept telling us;-) and we made good use of the lovely patio with fold-away doors to the kitchen. The cottage lies on the way to the village school, so the double room gets some noise in the morning. Alas, the local pub Y Gwydyr was temporarily closed for renovation, but that was about the only drawback of our stay. Room for improvement? The only thing we can think of is the addition of a hairdryer..;-)
