Guests say

St John The Baptist offers a unique and beautifully restored chapel experience in a stunning, tranquil location ideal for walkers and those seeking a peaceful retreat. Guests praise the tasteful décor, comfortable furnishings, and well-maintained gardens. While some mention minor cleanliness and maintenance issues, as well as challenges with parking and accessibility, the overall impression is of a charming and memorable stay in the heart of Snowdonia.

Guests noted that the property was immaculately clean on some occasions, but others mentioned issues such as a greasy kitchen and incomplete crockery, indicating some inconsistency.

The location is highly praised for its beauty, tranquillity, and proximity to walking routes and local attractions, though the steep driveway and lack of on-site parking were noted.

The chapel is described as comfortable and relaxing, with modern bathrooms and cosy furnishings, but some guests found the bed uncomfortable and had difficulty with accessibility.

Facilities are generally good, with modern bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen, but some guests experienced issues such as a broken garden swing, missing kitchen items, and a non-functioning bathroom fan.

There is no mention of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

Lovely accomadation didnt quite live up to my expectations, lovely relatively quiet setting, within a shortish drive of alot of nice places to visit, would certainly recommend the property, only real downside. for both my wife an i was the lack of garden furniture, with it being lovely weather we like to have bbq,s,but there was no picnic table provided for us to do this so we had to balance the plates on our knees, this needs to be addressed for future visitors, but apart from that a great holiday

My stay at St. John the Baptist church was really nice although you cannot park on the property so having to walk up a very steep driveway and being disabled was very uncomfortable for myself. Also there was no logs for the fire so paying out over £80 on logs was not what I was expecting but overall it was a lovely place and to stay in
