This wonderfully spacious property for two is situated within easy walking distance of the centre of Betws-y-Coed with all its amenities. Originally the village Smithy, the living/dining room is flooded with light from the large windows which also provide a great view out over the Conwy Valley. This quiet location provides a fantastic place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the village. There are walks from the door up into the Gwydir Forest and around Llyn Elsi lake, or a riverside walk past the golf course and the 14th century St Michael’s Church. There are plenty of places for eating out just a short stroll away, indulge in some local culture by hearing a Welsh choir sing in St Mary’s Church, or if you need a shot of adrenaline, try the family-friendly treetop nets at Zip World Fforest – or visit Surf Snowdonia, the worlds first inland surfing lake. Beach 20 miles. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

Absolutely lovely cottage right in the heart of Betws-y-Coed, les than 5 minutes walk to the train station, shops and restaurants. The property is incredibly spacious and the private off road parking is huge aset. Hosts were excellent and worked quickly to help when required

This cottage is in a great position for eating out in Betws Y Coed, for walks and exploring the area. The cottage itself is spacious with fantastic views and very comfortable. Parking space is next to the property.

We had an amazing week staying at Smithy Cottage (helped by the weather!). The cottage is cosy whilst also very spacious for two people, and was clean and well equipped. The big windows in the lounge give a great view. It is a 5 minute walk from the train station and shops/restaurants, and well connected on buses around the area. We would highly recommend.
