Betws y coed is an all year round destination for an active or relaxing holiday in Snowdonia National Park, with lots of outdoor activities, crafts, shops, galleries, pubs, and historic bridges over rivers and streams. Discover the waterfalls, river pools, and hill top lakes alongside the majestic mountains and dense woodland surrounding the village. Here you can enjoy walking, climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing in the breath taking scenery. Visit Swallow Falls, Conwy Falls, and Go Below for underground adventures, all within 3 miles. Alternatively, take a trip to Dolwyddelan Castle, Surf Snowdonia or climb Snowdon s Summit, all within 10 miles. Slightly further afield, within 15 miles, is Conwy Castle, National Trust s Bodnant Garden, and Zip World for adventures. The stunning coastline is approximately 18 miles away and is well worth a visit, including the coastal towns of Conwy and Llandudno. This gorgeous cottage is full of period features and creature comforts to enhance your stay. Walk into the bespoke kitchen which is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher, with lovely views up to the garden. You will find the washing machine and fridge/freezer in the utility room at the far end of the kitchen. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen has all the equipment you need to rustle up a good meal, and when its ready, walk through to the dining room with a feature fireplace to enjoy your food together and plan your holiday activities. After dinner, have a game of table football or relax in the decadent lounge on the velvet sofas in front of the feature fireplace with log burner and Smart TV. Upstairs, take a leisurely bubble bath in the stylish bathroom with a freestanding bath and WC (no separate shower). After a full day out, retire to one of the two bedrooms, the spacious king size or the lovely twin bedroom, both with TVs and designed with a good night s sleep in mind. Heading outside, the front garden is mostly laid to lawn with established borders. The rear garden is accessed by a few steps up to the paved patio, which features a table, chairs, and charcoal BBQ. Continue up to the top of the garden on gravel paths for fabulous views from sunrise to sunset towards the woodland and mountains. If you are bringing your bikes there is a covered area with a lockable rack and space for kayaks in the garden. On street parking is available nearby, subject to availability.
