This wonderful annexe is ideal for a romantic getaway or a family holiday and, as the stunning views change so much with each season; they will be spectacular whatever time of year you stay. In the summer, sit out on the pleasant patio and plan your days out and about. If all you want to do is enjoy the countryside, then this is the place for you as nearby, the Afan Forest Park is great for both walking and mountain biking, as is BikePark Wales in Gethin Woods, Merthyr Tydfil. Nestled on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), the array of scenic walks will astound you. Take a picnic to the nearby waterfalls, enjoy a round of golf, or for the more adventurous, try the local glider flights on offer. From energetic cycle holidays to relaxing breaks, this is the perfect holiday cottage!

The town of Brecon, on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) has Georgian and Jacobean architecture, a cathedral, museums, a theatre, a cinema, shops, restaurants and pubs. The stunning Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) is a haven for walkers and cyclists, with breathtaking countryside, waterfalls and caves. Also with the National Park are market towns, castles, and monuments, plus relaxing activities, such as pony trekking, and a ride on the Brecon steam railway. Within driving distance is the town of Hay-on-Wye with its many book and antique shops, plus the towns of Abergavenny and Builth Wells are well worth exploring. Brecon is an ideal base from which to explore the area.
