A paradise for lovers of hill walking, fishing and nature, the glorious surrounding countryside is known as ’waterfall country’, owing to the extraordinary diversity of waterfalls, and is home to an array of visitor attractions, from famous caves to steam railways, mountains and gardens. Swansea is just 15 miles away.

Lodge was excellent one of the best we have stayed in. Very clean and welcoming. Chocolate left for us a nice touch on arrival. Owners were very nice and the hot tub amazing. We would recommend this to our friends and family and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Only 1 sofaFridge/ freezer not on- wasted food (staff said we caught the switch when we put the food in but it took 2 days to get down to correct temperature so it definitely was not on when we arrived) No music allowed outside/ hot tub- this was not mentioned up front and only once we had arrived, we would not have booked somewhere which didnt allow music around the hot tub Oven trays not big enough for even a pizza Not as clean as it could have beenSquirrels/ field mice- wake you up and come around hot tub and in lodge if door left open Not allowed guests to visit- again this isn’t mentioned when booking, only when you arrive. Only provided with 1 bin bag for full week No atmosphere Quite late check in (5pm) and very early check out (9am) No toaster Bathroom was very clean so that was goodStaff members helpful and did also recommend places to go and takeaways etc

Lodge 2 was big enough for the two of us. Only down size was only having two of crockery and cuttlery.
