In the valley of the River Banwy, the town of Llanfair Caereinion was constructed on the remains of a former Roman fort. With a Post Office, two supermarkets, and a choice of three different pubs, it is a vibrant town centred on The Church of St. Mary. Locals love the yearly Llanfair Caereinion Carnival, which passes through the town with a full parade of floats and dancing groups to recreate the carnival atmosphere of Rio. Before travelling back in time and boarding the start of the narrow-gauge vintage steam railway that goes 8.5 miles west to Welshpool, there is a river walk along the banks of the Banwy that leads to an arboretum with over 25 distinct varieties of British trees. Welshpool is tucked away in the upper slopes of the lovely Severn Valley, not far from the Welsh-English border. This thriving market town is surrounded by lush, unspoiled farmland and rolling hills. Along with the rebuilt cock fighting pit and intriguing Heritage Trail in the town centre, there is a distinctive mix of stores selling arts and crafts, fashion and leisure, fresh produce, and great pubs and restaurants. Visit the famed Dingle Gardens and the well-known Powis Castle from the 13th century. Such peace and quiet. The pod has everything anyone can ask for. It's magical and the views are just breathtaking. The little welcome presents of fresh eggs, Welsh cakes and wine were a lovely surprise. The hot tub and the optional Spa treatments by Leah are a very nice bonus :-) Absolutely loved the place! Thanks to the lovely and welcoming hosts. I am hoping to come back again! :-)

Broken bbq, totally unusable which ruined all our birthday plans and had to go eat out and pay more money ,no way you could cook a decent meal in there as the smoke ans smell in such a confined space,and if you left door open birds flew in also some fridge mice Very uncomfortable seating area inside like a bench, no way you can sit and relax .,suitable for a nights stay but not the 4 night we booked as we had to go lay on the beds Paid a lot of money for facilities that were advertised but didn't work, would not compensate for the bbq which was basically the reason we booked
