About this property

Set high up in the Llanbedr Valley within the foothills of the Black Mountains, this comfortable barn conversion with stunning views is great for enthusiastic walkers and cyclists. This rural location offers access onto the Beacons Way from the door. Sugar Loaf and Table Mountain stand proudly above Crickhowell, and you can follow the ridge along to Waun Fach for views across to Pen y Fan and Grwyne Fawr Reservoir. Mountain bikers can access the mountain bike trail from the property to enjoy invigorating routes within Mynddu Forest. Other local attractions include Llangorse Lake (13 miles) for water sports and the World Heritage site at Blaenavon (11 miles). There are also many market towns to explore, including Crickhowell (3 miles) and Abergavenny (7 miles) which is famous for its food festival in September. Hay-on-Wye (22 miles), renowned for its annual book festival, is a haven for fans of literature.

Take some time to enjoy the views across to Sugar Loaf and bask in the elevated location before you step inside. This barn conversion has two self-contained floors – ideal for holidaying together and having your own space. Both floors offer a comfortable open-plan living space that is perfect to relax after a day exploring the National Park. The living area on the first floor offers a comfortable L shape sofa, Smart TV, and a dining table with chairs for four, so it’s perfect for dining together. The compact kitchen on each floor is simple though well-equipped with everything you may need to prepare meals during your stay. For a peaceful night’s rest, there is a cosy double bedroom on both floors (the bed is accessed from one side on the first floor) with views onto the farm. Completing the barn is a shower room on each floor.
