The Hideaway has been renovated in 2020 to a very high standard, with fabulous views over the green countryside, this place offers a break with peace and tranquillity. Whether you are looking for a quiet break and a relaxing evening in the hot tub watching the sun go down or looking to explore the area, this property is for you. There are a host of fascinating, historic market towns awaiting exploration within the borderlands of Wales and England, with Newtown sitting on the banks of the River Severn being the closest at just 2 miles away. Newtown offers a good selection of pubs, restaurants, excellent shopping, and is famous for arts and music galleries, museums and a theatre for visitors to enjoy. The National Trust’s Powis Castle, soaring dramatically above its glorious gardens, is within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

We have just come back from having a wonderful week at The Hideaway. If you want something tranquil for a chilled out time, then this is really hard to beat. Modern appliances, with a delightful bath and not overlooked hot tub, plus electric blinds for the bedroom. Even though it is in the rolling hills, it is only a few minutes drive into town and we can recommend the park, especially if you have brought your dog. We would be happy to book again. The hideaway views were amazing and really peaceful. All the wildlife that you could see around you was fantastic. It was when we got in to bed the first night the mattress had dips on both sides of it. I think it needed replacing a long time ago. We don’t sleep very well. Hope they change the mattress soon please 🙏.

We had a lovely holiday the setting of the cottage is lovely so peaceful. Every thing was spotless and lovely and warm. A bottle of Prosecco and a vase of flowers was a lovely touch as well. We will certainly go back and would like to go In summer with better weather so can sit outside more
