The White House is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and modern decor. Guests enjoyed the peaceful location with stunning views, comfortable furnishings, and the warmth of the property. Some noted the need for additional kitchen items and better heating control, but overall, the property provided a delightful stay with thoughtful touches like a welcome food basket.
Guests consistently noted the property as very clean and well-presented, with only minor comments on windows needing a clean and an issue with flies which was promptly addressed.
The location is highly praised for its scenic views and tranquility. However, some guests mentioned difficulty in finding the property and navigating the rural lanes, suggesting better directions could enhance the experience.
The property is described as comfortable, with good-sized bedrooms and a relaxing communal area. Some guests found the house too warm and suggested improvements in temperature control for optimal comfort.
The facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen and outdoor space. Criticisms include a lack of hand bars in the shower for disabled guests, a shortage of towels, and a need for more kitchenware, which slightly impacted the overall experience.
