The owners (Carol and David) were extremely friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any questions right from the start. The lodge itself was one of the best we've ever stayed in - everything was thought of. Full of little touches to make it extra special, as well as a feeling of total luxury with underfloor heating, robes and hot tub, along with high quality bathrooms and bed linen. We hope to return one day.
