From the moment you walk through the white picket gates into the garden, you will feel at home in this traditional, cosy property. Lovingly restored, Calcot Cottage retains all its original character whilst offering guests all the modern touches you would expect in a luxurious bolthole.
The convivial and well-equipped kitchen is spacious and the perfect setting for celebration feasts and relaxing breakfasts. Benefitting from a summer room to the side which leads through to the heart of the house, where you will find a comfy sitting room and separate snug. Guests can curl up on one of the three sofas in front of the fire and enjoy the wide screen television in the large sitting room, or take some time out with a good book in the well-appointed snug.
Upstairs are four bedrooms, beautifully decorated with luxurious beds to ensure the perfect night’s sleep.
Surrounded by a pretty, country cottage style garden with access to its own wildflower meadow and paddock, Calcot Cottage is perfect for some down time in the hot tub which is found at the side of the house overlooking the garden – the ideal place for taking in some beautiful Shropshire landscape.

Superb farmhouse, spotlessly clean and stunningly styled. It also had the best equipped kitchen I have ever stayed in and wins the prize for best hamper. The surrounding garden and stunning local walks were gorgeous too.

Beautiful house, excellent location and house contained everything we could need. Only thing I would have liked to know in advance is that the house is surrounded by a pheasant âfarmâ and my working cocker spaniel was hyper the whole weekend as she could hear them outside.
