Set over two floors, this property can sleep four people across two bedrooms and there is an additional king-size sofa bed in the sitting room if required, with a pretty garden overlooking greenery towards the distant hillside and above the beautiful Afon Llinau. Stepping into the property, the striking exposed beams welcome you into the sitting room, hosting two sofas for you to look forward to retiring to on an evening in front of the TV while the warm light of the lamps in the inglenook fireplace fills the room with an amber glow. Moving through the property and into the bright and airy L-shaped kitchen with a dining table and stools, you will find an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a kettle and toaster and a washing machine. Climb the traditional cottage stairs to find the spacious landing with chaise longue, ideal for escaping to relax with a good book. The first bedroom has storage, bedside tables and a lovely plush double bed, whilst off the landing is the second bedroom, hosting a rustic adult bunk and small TV/ DVD player. Back on the ground floor is the shower room, with a whitewashed exposed stone wall, a walk-in shower, basin and toilet. Entrance to the south facing rear garden is gained via a patio door in the kitchen, the enclosed garden is a real sun-trap on a bright day, while the surroundings play host to many native birds and their songs, benefiting from a lovely lawned area and garden furniture for relaxing in. To keep you busy while you are in the area, visit King Arthur’s Labyrinth, in the nearby Corris mine where you can take fascinating tours and stop off for a spot on lunch in the Y Crochan café before stopping off in The Larder next door, a Welsh food shop sourcing produce which has been grown and reared in Wales. For birdwatchers and naturists alike, Falconry Experience Wales is just another short drive from the property, home to numerous birds of prey where you can marvel at their beauty during the shows which take place regularly both individually or as a group. The property is also conveniently located within close proximity to historical landmarks such as the Owain Glyndŵr Memorial Stone, Mary Jones Memorial Llanfihangel-y-Pennant, and Pont Minllyna pretty, hidden mini-bridge over the River Dyfi. For a leisurely day drip, visit Gerddi Bro Ddyfi Gardens, open year round, the gardens offer workshops, raised vegetable beds, a shelter, a pond, a wildflower meadow created by locals and volunteers to for the public to enjoy the tranquil horticulture in the heart of Machynlleth.
