Kick start your day with a refreshing shower in the shower room, as your towel warms on the heated towel rail. Moving through the property you will find a playroom/study filled with games and toys for the children to enjoy, as well as two single beds for additional guests. Outside, fire up the barbecue for an alfresco dining experience as your guests enjoy relaxing in the spacious hot tub. It was really nice to have all our family together. We would highly recommend this property :)

Despite clear and friendly communication in advance, we were surprised by the extensive rules and watchful eye from our hosts during our holiday. If we’d known in advance the expectations of guests, we wouldn’t have booked. After a 3-night stay, we were left with excessive cleaning charges, along with damage costs without satisfactory evidence. This included fines for extra laundry after using the towels and sheets provided in the house for 9 people, fines for leaving the bins bagged up in the kitchen on our last day instead of outside the house, charges for a deep clean of the aga oven, as well as £100 charge to shampoo the carpets despite no damage having been made. The hosts attended the property each day without announcement to check PH levels of the hot tub which left us feeling uneasy, whilst also claiming we left lights on in rooms we weren’t using. We feel the hosts are averse to the property being used in the capacity it is advertised as and unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend booking this property.

Kim and Jon are very welcoming and helpful. Immaculately clean and very well equipped. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. The drive down the lane and up the track is initially daunting but you soon get used to it!
