Abercyros Cottage is set in the village of Llangammarch Wells just 7 miles from the popular town of Builth Wells, famous for shows such as the Royal Welsh Show. Within Builth town itself there is a variety of bars, restaurants, shops and takeaways. There are plenty of things to see and do whether you are looking for a more active holiday or whether you are looking to relax. On the outskirts of the village there is the Lake Country House Hotel and Spa where guests can relax using the spa facilities overlooking the beautiful lake or enjoy an afternoon cream tea. If you are looking to be more active then this is the perfect base for all types of walks, from short strolls to long hikes. Closest is the Epynt Way which starts and finishes at property entrance. From the top of the Epynt Way you will be able to see for miles. The Brecon Beacons are just a 30-minute drive form the property, making this an excellent base for exploring Mid Wales.
When you have finished exploring for the day, this property boasts a large enclosed garden with private patio where guests can sit back and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Shop 500 yards, restaurant 3 miles.

We had a wonderful family holiday in Roland’s house. It’s a beautiful home. You couldn’t ask for a more lovely place. The location was wonderful. Great walks right from the front door. And lovely places to visit in the surrounding area. The house was so relaxing. We loved the woodburner in the evenings and the hot tub was perfect for us. Huge kitchen and loads of space overall. Roland was a super friendly host who looked after us really well. We’d love to return in the future!

Lovely house which was excellent in presentation, clean and had everything we needed for 8 people to stay for a week.Lovely location in a small village in Central Wales. Easy access to other areas of Wales (Brecon was a good place to visit), and great for walking in the area. Lots of wildlife; pheasants were in abundance and at night, owls and bats.Supermarkets around 25 to 30 mins away, but they do deliver to the location. Garden and outdoor areas plus a really clean and large hottub. The owner was incredibly helpful and on hand if you needed anything but not over bearing. Really enjoyed our stay here and already talking about booking again next year. Recommended.
