Llangadfan 4 miles. Delightful detached cottage with a hot tub located in a lovely rural location near the village of Llangadfan in unspoilt Welsh countryside with the River Vyrnwy running nearby. Attractively presented throughout, with beams and high ceilings adding to its charm, the cottage is perfect for a couple wanting to enjoy a relaxing break together in a beautiful rural location. The cottage is all on one floor and boasts fabulous views across the valley to the hills beyond. Step into the spacious living room and relax on the comfy sofa in front of the woodburning stove to warm up after a day's hike. There is an attractive double bedroom, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with a lovely large shower. Stable doors from the kitchen open onto your very own private garden with a lawned area and patio, perfect for sitting back with a good book or rustling up a tasty barbecue. For the ultimate relaxation, sink into the inviting hot tub and let the warmth and bubbles soothe you from top to toe. The local area offers fantastic scenery and excellent walking, cycling and birdwatching. If you want to venture further afield, then why not take the steam train from Llanfair Caereinion to Welshpool and spend the day exploring the bustling town, visit the local railway museum, take a leisurely stroll along the Montgomery Canal or discover Powis Castle with its renowned gardens. The fabulous beauty spot of Lake Vyrnwy is approximately 10 miles away where you can wander through pretty woodland trails, enjoy a meal at the riverside café or hire a rowing boat to enjoy the vast waters and spot the local wildlife. The small, traditional village of Llangadfan in Powys is an excellent central location for exploring all of Mid Wales and beyond into Snowdonia and Shropshire. Llangadfan boasts Glyndwrs Way footpaths and the Foel Ramble, a 4 mile walk overlooking the hills of Montgomeryshire and also it is close to the Cambrian and Berwyn mountain ranges where there is wonderful scenery in all directions. The village also has a pub/restaurant and a shop/tea room, and the Cann Office Hotel, just one mile away has a bar, restaurant and gardens and was formerly Cae ’n Fos, a medieval fortified camp on a bend on the River Banwy.
