Gorgeous open plan two storey lodge. Ground floor: Spacious lounge/kitchen/dining area. One twin (double by arrangement). Shower. First floor: One super king-size double with en suite shower. Absolutely gorgeous stay! Everything was so comfortable and cosy, and there were so many lovely little personal touches included. The hosts are lovely and very hands on in communication and checking in and things. Lots of lovely nature on your doorstep, bunnies and squirrels regularly, lots of birds of prey to watch, sheep in the field, it was just lovely. Also get some fly-bys from military aircraft which is really interesting. The kids turned it into a research project whenever they saw something new. The hot tub was also to die for! Probably the best we’ve had on a lodge stay. The properties are spaced out in a way that even though they were occupied we barely heard a sound the entire time we were there. If I could make one recommendation it would be to update the listing to state there is an under counter fridge, and an under counter freezer. Just useful to know when shopping on the way, but honestly could not fault it at all, will definitely be back!

Stunning location, perfect lodge for secluded retreat, peaceful and super relaxing. Hot Tub was a lovely treat. Friendly and helpful responses from host. Would definitely recommend.
