This property enjoys a quiet and rural location situated in the quaint little hamlet of Llanigo, just 2 miles from one of the areas much loved market towns of Hay on Wye. Rich in history and culture, Hay on Wye is famous for its literary heritage, hosting literature festivals and home to a vast array of traditional book shops, art galleries and eateries showcasing locally grown produce. Located on the northern tip of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this is a fantastic family base to try outdoor activities such as horse riding, mountain biking, kayaking on the River Wye, rock climbing and many more. One of a pair of cottages with the owners living next door, this traditional style accommodation is arranged over two floors and offers a warm and friendly greeting with a welcome pack on arrival. The cosy lounge with leather sofas has a feature stone fireplace with electric fire. The country style kitchen/diner is well equipped with an electric double oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. With access to the garden from the dining area, a hearty breakfast can be enjoyed alfresco style with all the family sat round together. Upstairs comprises one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, one single bedroom and the family bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. The cottage benefits from a spacious and enclosed south facing garden with a patio area, down a couple of steps. Enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sunshine and drink in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and rolling fields.
