Churchstoke is a historic village, which borders Old Church Stoke, in Powys, Wales, and is situated near the River Camlad. It was first referred to in the 1086 Domesday book, as a farm with a recorded church. This small village offers a two local pubs, a shopping centre and a bowling club, with a weekly market held on Sunday's. Churchstoke has easy access to many neighbouring towns and villages, all offering many amenities and historic sights.

    As a family of 6 we found it very spacious yet cosy and homely and the peace and quiet was just wonderful. A good spot to explore the surrounding countryside from but also a perfect place to stay if you just want to relax and get away from it all. Would definitely go back again.

    Everything we needed was supplied including dishwasher, washing powder - in fact everything and even a little gift pack to welcome us. The place was spotless and well equipped. We loved it.

    Proactive contact by owner much appreciated. Very comfortable accommodation and fabulous garden. The property is in a rural setting which suits us, and has easy (car) access to essential services and highlights of the region. Views from the property/garden are excellent. Absolutely no reason not to visit again - other than that we live on the other side of the world!
