This fantastic, detached luxury property enjoys rural views from an elevated position of the surrounding farmland, the village of Carno is set just 1 mile away and there is a village store, post office and a pub. This property offers guests comfortable accommodation and is set in a rural location and is set near to many areas of interest. The property is within easy reach of Clywedog Reservoir and Powis Castle. It is an ideal spot for birdwatching, cycling, and walking, and the west coastline is only an hour’s drive.
Attractions include Elan Valley, Lake Vyrnwy, Source of the Severn, Hafren Forest, Plymlimon Hills and Devils Bridge. This is also a great base for the Royal Welsh Show in Llanelwedd. Close by there are towns such as Newtown and Llandiloes which both host an array of bars, shops, and restaurants, and also a good range of takeaways which guests can use and enjoy at the property. After a busy day exploring the area there is a private hot tub which guests can use and relax in set in the garden of the property. The property is detached and there is driveway parking for 4 cars.

We stayed 4 nights in the cottage. We do love the peaceful cottage and we have great time staying. However, do take note that there are really loads of flies during the summer. All in all, we still love the place.

Excellent holiday cottage which was everything we wanted for a four night annual family gathering. Would note that a second cabin is being completed in the same field which may reduce the rural peace and isolation but won’t spoil the great views across the valley to the scenic hills that surround it.

Just spent 3 nights in the cabin for our daughters 30th birthday. Andy was a great host always quick to respond and very helpful. The cabin is very well equipped and comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Would highly recommended
