Penybont barn is a former farm building and has been renovated to high standards, with exposed beams and stone walls this place has lots of character, its own private walled garden and a babbling brook. Located in in the centre of Llangorse village with two pubs within short walking distance, Llangorse lake is nearby with many waterborne activities, and many beautiful local walks, biking and horse riding opportunities, and access to the ranges of the Beacons and Black Mountain.

Penybont Barn is about 5 miles from the market town of Brecon, which hosts plenty of coffee shops and quaint little shops; there is also the Regimental Museum of The Royal Welsh, the Theatr Brycheiniog, and the Coliseum cinema. Take a walk along the Mon&Brec canal, great for exercising your pets, and stop off at the villages in between such as Talybont-on-Usk. Just 16 miles away is the literary town of Hay-on-Wye with its fabulous book shops and world-renowned festival.
