A rural retreat tucked away in the heart of the Breconshire countryside with spectacular mountain views, ideal for active walks and cycle rides and evenings spent snuggled in front of the comforting wood burner.

Elevated above a meadow with a small pool and stream running below, this peaceful and picturesque lodge has stunning views across to the Black Mountains and Mynydd Troed. Within easy walking distance is Llandefalle Common, grazed by sheep and mountain ponies and beyond is Llaneglwys Forest. There are also endless scenic cycle rides from the door. horse riding, golf and fishing can all be found locally. The town of Brecon ( 5 miles away ) boasts a leisure centre, museum, cinema and theatre together with boat hire on the Brecon and Monmouth Canal. Beneath the wooden exterior of the lodge,is a fresh and contemporary property characterised by comfortable furniture and stylish decor. A welcoming open plan living area, with wood burner in the corner, offers views over farmland to the mountains. The well equipped kitchen area is a treat for budding cooks, who will appreciate the country cottage style cabinets and ample worktop space. A tasteful shower room with heated towel rail and WC complete the ground floor. Upstairs, the two elegant bedrooms are crisply dressed and thoughtfully accessorised, whether you opt for the king size bedroom or the cosy single room with an additional sofa bed. Back downstairs, step through the patio doors ready to unwind with drinks on the patio or a relaxing spell in the hot tub. Cyclists can lock up their bikes in the secure shed, which also houses a washing machine and drying area for wet clothes. The lodge is surrounded by farmland, so please be sure to keep dogs on leads and supervise children at all times, especially around the small pool and stream. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 single ( with additional sofa bed ). 1 bathroom shower room with WC. Electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge with small icebox and dishwasher. Utility room outside with washing machine. Welcome pack on arrival. Wood burner kindling,basket of logs and firelighters provided on arrival, more available to purchase on request. Electric central heating. Smart TV. Hot tub (towels for hot tub not supplied please bring your own). Travel cot and highchair available on request (bedding for cot not provided). Covered outdoor seating area and patio with garden furniture. Private off road parking. Secure bike storage. 1 small dog welcome, no other animals allowed, please note that this is a working farm with livestock . Pub within 3.5 miles, shop within 5 miles. Please note the small pool and private stream are not enclosed, children and dogs should be carefully supervised when playing outdoors. Carbon monoxide detector. Sleeps 3 1 with an additional sofa bed in single bedroom.
