Pembroke, a mediaeval walled town, is home to a magnificent castle where Henry Tudor was born. In a picturesque site on the estuary of a river, this old town is filled with shops, charming tea places, and restaurants. The gorgeous Pembrokeshire coastline with its award-winning beaches and scenic coastal path is close. Here begins a popular cycling path that passes past the charming village of St. Florence and on to Tenby. Bosherton, with its stunning lily ponds and famed St Govan's Inn serving locally-sourced food and superb ales, is only 6 kilometres distant. Surfers can head to Freshwater West, which was featured in one of the Harry Potter films, or see the views from Stack Rocks, which is constructed into the cliff face. Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, where you may feed molly lambs or take a tractor ride, Manor House Wildlife Park, Dinosaur Experience, and Heatherton World of Adventures are easily accessible.
