A mediaeval walled town, Pembroke is home to a magnificent castle, which was the birthplace of Henry Tudor. In an exquisite location, on the river estuary, this old town features a variety of stores, small tea rooms and restaurants. The gorgeous Pembrokeshire coastline is close, with its award-winning beaches and fantastic walks along the coastal path. There is a popular cycle path that starts here, leading you past the lovely village of St Florence and then on to Tenby. Bosherton is about 4 miles away, with its stunning lily ponds and the popular St Govan’s Inn, serving locally-sourced food and great ales. St Govan’s Chapel is constructed into the cliff face, where you can take in wonderful views from Stack Rocks, or surfers may head to Freshwater West, which featured in one of the Harry Potter films. Within short reach are Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, where you can feed molly lambs or have a tractor ride, Manor House Wildlife Park, Dinosaur Experience and Heatherton World of Adventures.
