Folkeston Hill holiday cottage is situated in the quiet hamlet of Nolton Haven, which is in the centre of the beautiful St Brides Bay Coastline with steep, undulating cliffs and sandy beaches. Completely unspoiled but within easy reach of Haverfordwest, the County town and many nearby coastal villages, within a short distance lie Newgale well known for surfing along 3 miles of golden sand. St David's the smallest City in Great Britain, the coastal villages of Little Haven, Broad Haven and Solva with a pretty natural harbour. Interesting places to visit include the Preseli Hills, Woollen Mills, Craft shops, potteries and boat trips to Ramsey Island and Skomer Island.

Bathroom, bath with shower over, whb, WC, door to washing machine. Bedroom 1, with double bed. Bedroom 2, with twin beds. Garden decking with furniture. Rent inclusive of electricity. Duvets and bed linen are provided. Non-smokers only. 4pm takeover. 

Location

Nolton Haven has an uncrowded sandy beach set between Newgale Sands and Broad Haven. The beach is located on the west coast of Pembrokeshire in St Bride's Bay. Nolton Haven Beach is popular for boating, swimming, surfing, horse riding, fishing and walking and as with many Pembrokeshire beaches it is bordered by the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Dogs are allowed. There is a pub and hotel closeby and a slipway on the beach.

Newgale Sands only 2.5 miles away is celebrated for its two mile stretch of clean beach. It is particularly excellent for surfing with its huge atlantic waves, also for windsurfing and kayaking. The beach is rimmed by a natural ridge of smooth pebbles which act as a flood defence at high tide. It is easy to access with wheelchairs and pushchairs. It is dog- friendly and has a nearby caf?, toilets, surfboard hire and lifeguards.

Nolton Haven is seven miles from Haverfordwest not the biggest town in Pembrokeshire, but the most populous, Haverfordwest is the central administrative hub of this region of Wales. Close to the Celtic Trail, and a good central Pembrokeshire base for access north up to the Preseli Hills and west towards St Brides Bay, Haverfordwest has one of the best local history museums in Pembrokeshire, plus there's Haverfordwest Castle too! The town centre has an array of shops and a pleasant converted quay (Haverfordwest was once a thriving port at the end of the river estuary). It is a bustling, busy town with plenty of restaurants, accommodation, pubs and cafes here.

Haverfordwest has large shopping centre with most of the supermarkets and many shops, cinema and castle. Fishguard - 21.6 miles takes 38 minutes. Fishguard is a port where the ferry crosses over to Ireland. Cardigan - 33.4 miles takes 1 hour 4 minutes. Carmarthen ? 37.4 miles takes 1 hour 1 minute. Carmarthen has a large shopping centre with most of the supermarkets and many of the other high street shops, and a multi screen cinema.
