About this property

This welcoming two bedroom bungalow has private and spacious gardens and is located at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac near the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The seaside town of Newport/Trefdraeth has Carningli Mountain (The Mount of Angels), the medieval church and beautiful, privately-owned castle as a backdrop. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is less than 5 minutes' walk away at the Iron Bridge on the upper reaches of the river Nevern estuary where many different varieties of wading birds are spotted daily. Goldcrest is just a few minutes' walk from a butcher, baker, deli, general store and a selection of welcoming pubs and restaurants serving excellent food. Also within walking distance of the cottage is Parrog beach and Traeth Mawr - the 'big beach' which is a 20-minute walk along the coast path (or 3 miles by road) and offers a mile and a half of silver sand with rock pools, dunes and cliffs, backed by the 18-hole links golf course. This cottage is perfect for a couple or a small family at any time of the year.

Newport is a beautiful coastal town in Pembrokeshire, south west Wales lying on the River Nevern with a selection of shops, pubs, tea rooms, plus an excellent golf course overlooking the sea as well as a lovely sheltered harbour. Newport lies on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which is renowned worldwide for its unique landscape and wonderful opportunities to go dolphin and seal spotting. Wonderful coastal walks along the path or in the nearby Preseli Hills with the ever changing scenery are a walkers dream all year round. Learn about history when you visit the mills, craft centres and castles dotted around the county or spend a day at the wonderful Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort where you can learn hands on all about living during that time. See the majestic Shire Horses at the Shire Horse Farm or spend relaxing days on the huge choice of beautiful sandy beaches. All year round this is a perfect location for all the family.

.fantastic accommodation, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything needed. The location in Newport was great dog walks straight from the door ..and local shops that sell all that you need . We came away feeling rested and relaxed .After our Pembrokeshire holiday. Thanks Stephen and Fiona ,for a fantastic holiday.

Stephen and Fiona had ensured that this bungalow is very comfortable and easy to stay in. It suited our needs perfectly. It is ideally situated right next to the coastal path making doggy walks to Newport Sands or the Parrog so convenient. It is also very close to some great foodie shops - we ate well!

The flowers in the rooms was a lovely touch. The patio door was lovely to sit and listen to the birds and stream. Stephen allowed me to move some items which my blind dog could have bumped into . My dogs enjoyed the secure garden. The location of this property is brilliant, easy access to the coastal path , shops and pubs. Newport is very dog friendly. I’ve already booked to come back next year., can’t wait .
