Bluebell

"Fabulous pod. Everything you need in compact space. Hot tub amazing. However the pull out bed is not ideal. It is small, very uncomfortable and not nice to sleep on. Both had bad backs/hips after 4 nights. Luckily we took our own duvet, as we used duvet provided as extra mattress topper, but still not enough to soften solid base. Will upgrade to the pods with beds next time"

"We loved the bluebell lodge that came with the hot tub and amazing views! The only downside was the pull out bed and sofa, we found these very uncomfortable and did not get good nights sleep throughout the trip."

"My boyfriend and I had an amazing relaxing stay in the bluebell cabin! It was beautiful with a lovely view! We were stuck in awful traffic getting there but the staff were very helpful and left a welcome pack and opened the cottage up for us even though we were late; the next morning when going to sign papers the receptionist was also very lovely! Over all it was very comfortable and a perfect accommodation for the two of us. It is in a lovely area not too far from a lovely little town! The hot tub was also an amazing bonus with the lovely view behind, very relaxing!"

"Perfect couples retreat ... the space in bluebell is more than enough for two it was so relaxed and romantic with the Bluetooth speakers .. which we used everyday .. there was everything inside that we needed and more . One bed was too soft but the other was firm and better for us the shower and bathroom was beautiful .."

"The view from the pod was stunning, perfect for relaxing in the evening in the hot tub watching the sun go down over the landscape.The space between the pods was great to feel some privacy yet not feel isolated.The sofa bed was really comfortable, the pillows so fluffy. It was easy to keep it in bed form for the week and just shuffle past to get into the bathroom or through the side door.Once we found the mood lights and how to work them it was nice to personlise the space slightly.The couple of soft blankets were useful and a really cosy touch.I loved the mural-like additions such as the waterfall scene in the shower.Perhaps a slightly fussy gripe on cleanliness, I felt the skirting boards and corners hadn't been seen to for a while, although not detrimental to a stay or immediately noticeable, for the price of the accommodation it's a small detail I think should be addressed on a slightly more regular basis.Overall it felt like our home away from home, so easy to settle in, it was peaceful and relaxing, the break helped us to recharge. Just disappointed it was over so quickly. Definitely booking again next year!"

"The lodge is small, the one bed was good to sleep in but didn't have a blind on the door so we were awoken each morning with bright sunlight in our eyes. I thought this was very expensive for the size. Hot tub was lovely but the spot is so windy it was cold on times."

"The cabin/our comfort was severely let down by the uncomfortable pull out bed which was awful. This main bed is sprung but dips giving a broken sleep and sore back. The secondary bed is a fold out foam/wood frame construction which is tolerable. All staff that we spoke to were aware of the issue with the bed...…..."
