A delightfully located cottage in the beautiful Pembrokeshire village of Llawhaden. Set on the bank of the river, this is a truly idyllic location. As the name suggests, this property is next door to the local church and just a very short walk to the renowned Llawhaden Castle. Narberth is close by and has an eclectic mix of shops, galleries and restaurants. The coast is a little further with stunning beaches in Tenby and Saundersfoot. The village may be restful but is still close to all the major attractions such as Oakwood theme park and Blue Lagoon waterpark, both a short drive away. The local pubs and shops are about three miles away. Enter the hallway where you can kick off your boots and hang up your coat. This leads you into the beautiful solid wood kitchen with range oven with gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, looking out over the enclosed garden and river beyond. The kitchen is open plan, with a large dining area and French doors to the rear garden. The comfortable lounge has a fabulous, warming wood burner at the heart of the room. A selection of books, games, DVD's and CD's are available in the lounge, offering something for the whole family. There are two good sized bedrooms, a super king size double with a TV and views over the garden patio. The second, is a triple bunk bedroom, which can accommodate three guests and has a single over double bed, which is large enough for adults. From the kitchen there is a small hallway to the main family bathroom with a delightful roll top bath, separate shower and WC. There is another separate WC. This thoughtfully laid out cottage is the perfect retreat to enjoy a holiday any time of the year. Outside there is a wonderful riverside garden. The first half has garden furniture and gas BBQ, leading onto an enclosed lawn. This is fenced, with a gate leading through to a lower garden with lawn and bench that sits right on the river. Ideal for nature lovers or even those with their own kayak. To the fore of the cottage is parking for two cars.
