About this property

Jules @ 79 is a contemporary, detached dwelling, located in Heritage Park in Stepaside, near Wiseman's Bridge, South Pembrokeshire. Wiseman's Bridge is a seaside village with a pub and lovely, quiet beach, a level path walkway approximately 15 minutes from the lodge. The beach is also accessible by car in less than 10 minutes. Saundersfoot is 2 miles by coastal path. Tenby is 5 miles. The single storey wooden chalet style lodge benefits from uninterrupted views over the Pembrokeshire countryside and provides quiet, good quality accommodation for a family holiday. Three steps take you up to the decking, where you enter the lodge into the compact hallway. This leads on to a snug open-plan sitting room, with a dining area and kitchen. There's comfy seating to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the sights, or you could chill out and watch the flat screen TV. The kitchen is well equipped to help you whip up tasty meals and you can dine inside at the four seater dining table, or open up the doors onto the decking, and enjoy an alfresco meal on the south facing deck with its stunning views. There are two comfortable bedrooms - a double with its own en-suite WC and basin, and an inviting twin bedroom. The lodge has a family shower room, with WC, basin and a large walk-in shower cubicle. If you can't bear to be parted from your mobile or laptop, there's WiFi available in the lodge.

Outside the lodge is a raised decking area, complete with comfortable patio furniture. The extended area of decking is south facing and offers a beautiful spot to be still, take in the views and enjoy the wildlife. If you're on holiday with children, there's a children's play area close by. It's only one mile to the nearest town, Kilgetty, where you'll find shops, a pub and restaurants - great if you don't fancy cooking all your meals on holiday. The lodge is well placed for access to local beaches. Wiseman's Bridge beach is quiet, secluded and less than a mile away, this is reached via an all most completely level path less than a mile away and there is pub/restaurant on the beach. Saundersfoot is about 1.5 miles and can be reached by another mainly level path following the shore line. The Pembrokeshire coastal path is also nearby. Ideally located for exploring this wonderful area of Pembrokeshire, Jules @ 79 is an excellent lodge and is a great spot for a family holiday or short break.

Stepaside is a holiday hamlet with a few houses pubs and restaurants. This valley was a hive of industrial activity from the 14th to the 19th century as it was an integral part of the Pembrokeshire coal field. It's hard to imagine that now, as very little remains apart from the old ironworks at Stepaside and the railway tunnels between Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot.. The whole of Pembrokeshire beckons with the harbour and seaside resorts of Amroth just a short walk away and Tenby and Saundersfoot close by.

This was our second visit to Jules 79 and won't be our last as makes for a very relaxing holiday. Huge thanks to Stuart the caretaker, who keeps this property immaculately clean & his communication is much appreciated.

The caretaker Stuart was very helpful before and during our stay and went out of his way to ensure we had a good holiday-thanks Stuart. This is a lovely lodge kept spotless one thing I would mention is that some of the carpets are well worn and could do with being changed. However this would not prevent us from returning to this property.

Jules @ 79 is, in our opinion, in one of the prime locations in the park. Wisemans Bridge and it’s beachfront Pub is a 20/25 minute walk down a paved lane and you can walk to Saundersfoot through the cliff tunnels from there. Main roads are a few minutes away if you want to go further afield. All in all we had a comfortable relaxing weekend (in spite of the weather) in a lovely lodge and will definitely consider returning.
