About this property

Kilgetty 1 mile. Sitting in the charming Heritage Park in Stepaside, Pembrokeshire is this neatly-presented holiday home, Lodge 53. With designated parking, Superfast WiFi and within easy reach of the beach and local amenities, this lodge makes an ideal base for a family or friends to explore this scenic region. As you arrive, convenient parking makes uploading bags easy, before stepping into the social hub of the lodge, the open-plan living space. Dining seating for four guests invites you to gather your loved ones and plan a day of adventures, while the well-equipped kitchen offers all the chef of the group needs to rustle up a tasty meal to fuel your conversation, and a breakfast bar with two seats for your morning coffee. From here, the TV and sofa make the perfect sitting space for the evenings after a day of walking, or alternatively, throw the patio doors open and take your chill time outside onto the decking, which is kitted out with stylish Rattan furniture. When it's time to rest, choose from a double with a walk-in wardrobe and handy en-suite shower room with a corner shower, or a twin which is ideal for children. Heritage Park is set in stunning surroundings along the dramatic and inspiring Pembrokeshire coast. If you can tear yourself away from this wonderful setting, venture into the heart of Kilgetty to stock up on all your essentials at the local supermarket or enjoy an evening meal or drink by ordering a take-away meal from the fish & chip shop, Indian or Chinese restaurants. Next, head to the coast, where you can eat delicious food while admiring breathtaking views of the Bristol Channel at Wisemans Bridge Inn or spend an entire day on the golden sands of Saundersfoot Beach. Explore the National Trust's Tudor Merchant House, the impressive 11th-century Manorbier Castle, Carew Castle and Tidal Mill, and the ruins of Narberth Castle. Colby Woodland Garden, Oakwood Theme Park, and Manor Wildlife Park are among the other notable attractions woven throughout the surrounding countryside. A lovely lodge in an ideal setting, choose Lodge 53.

Kilgetty is 2.4 miles from Cresswell Quay, one of Pembrokeshire's most picturesque villages. Cresswell Quay is best described as a delightful hamlet of scattered cottages on the edge of the tidal estuary. The central focal point is, of course, the old quay, where boats can still moor for as long as the tide allows, and where you may wish to stop for light refreshments at the Cresselly Arms. It is a short drive from Tenby and has a variety of shops and pubs, as well as its own train station.

Would definitely return again and stay in Lodge 53. The owner had put a lot of care in the furnishing and thought of all the home comforts you are likely to need. Thank you for making our stay so good.

It had everything you could possibly need. Nicely furnished and accessorized. It is a in a very peaceful setting and the grounds are well maintained.

The lodge is in a great position and is very well equipped and comfortable with a really good kitchen. Heritage Park is an excellent site, attractive and well maintained. The walk to Wiseman’s Bridge and on to Saundersfoot is all on the level and very pretty. Thank you for a super holiday. We would love to return!
