Guests say

Neptune's Nest is praised for its excellent location, close to the beach and amenities, with ample private parking. The property is well-regarded for its cleanliness and is considered comfortable by some guests. However, there are mentions of dated decor and a need for additional seating in the lounge area.

The property is generally clean, with clean towels and bed linen provided. However, some guests noted that cutlery and dishes were not thoroughly clean upon arrival.

The location is highly appreciated, being very close to the beach and local shops, with the convenience of private parking and nearby cafes.

Guests find the beds small and some of the furniture uncomfortable, but the sofa is mentioned as comfortable. An additional armchair could enhance the comfort level.

The property's facilities are seen as incomplete or dated, with a small fridge, lack of a teapot, insufficient cutlery, and a vacuum that emits an unpleasant odour. The presence of a microwave is suggested.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owner, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

We stayed at Neptune's Nest for a full week in August. The location is fantastic, just off Broad Haven beach and within easy reach of Tenby and nearby sightseieng. There is ample private parking available. There are cafes and a well stocked Londis right next door. The flat is however very dated and tired. One of the bathrooms only has a tub, no shower (my fault for not reading the fine print) and both bathrooms are carpeted. The kitchen had 3 pots with one lid between them and no other cooking utensils. Cutlery and plates/cups/bowls were plentiful, however left crusty by previous occupants so had to rewash everything. The towels and bed linen were clean. Sadly, the living room and sofa smelt vaguely of wet dog - and when we tried to use the hoover prior to our departure, a cloud of that wet dog odour blasted out - we stopped immediately!

We had a lovely holiday and found Neptune’s nest to be well equipped and comfortable. Its location is excellent as it’s only a very short walk to the beach and shops. The only downside is the lack of seating in the lounge area. The sofa is comfortable but that only leaves a slightly uncomfortable chair in the corner. Maybe a more comfortable armchair would solve this.
