Letterston 3.1 miles. Lleathdy Cottage is a delightful single-storey cottage resting in the countryside of Castlemorris near Letterston, Sir Benfro. This is a lovely hideaway for a couple looking to explore the countryside of Sir Benfro. Be welcomed into this property and discover a conservatory snug, a lovely spot for guests to relax with a coffee and plan the day ahead of them. Next, find a kitchen with a great selection of amenities to cater to your culinary needs, as well as a living/dining room. With tall ceilings, bare stone features and a glowing electric fire, this space is filled with character and ideal for a romantic meal for two followed by a movie marathon. Freshen up in the bathroom with a soak amongst the bubbles or a warm shower before catching your rest in a homely super-king bedroom. Outside guests have access to the owner’s garden, as well as a more secluded private patio and lawn space perfect for an alfresco affair. Castlemorris is a countryside hamlet settled into Pembrokeshire, with countryside views and a tranquil atmosphere. For amenities, head over to the close by village of Letterston where there is a local shop, pubs and eateries, with options including Something’s Cooking and the Harp in. Letterston is a village scattered each side of the main road from Haverfordwest to Fishguard with two pubs, an award-winning fish and chip restaurant, a petrol station with general store, a newsagents, a butcher and a Post Office. With no actual centre these amenities are scattered along the main road and down side roads which makes this a very interesting village. A perfect location, this rambling village gives easy access to all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. The county town of Haverfordwest is to the south and Fishguard is to the north with its Irish ferry terminal, meaning a day trip to Ireland could offer an added variety to your holiday. The award-winning coastal path, superb sandy beaches, bird islands, castles galore, golf courses, theme parks and much more are all close by, making Letterston one of the best placed villages for your Pembrokeshire holiday all year round.
