Nestled on the banks of the Usk, known as the best river in Wales for brown trout fishing, with an impressively engineered Chainbridge close by. This is a beautiful Welsh bolthole, perfect for two, yet thoughtfully designed and very family friendly for up to four. There are two country pubs approx. 1 mile away that serve good homemade food, and are a perfect alternative to the local pub across the river (this is currently under going renovations).
Set in the rolling Monmouthshire countryside, the cottage is well placed for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park, a haven for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, as well as pottering around the market towns and feasting on the local fayre which has helped give Monmouthshire its status as the food county of Wales. The area is good for cycling and bike hire is available locally. The cottage offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king size bedroom, 1 twin bedroom. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC on the ground floor . Lounge/kitchen/diner: open plan with woodburner, (first basket of logs included) Smart TV and DVD.
