Tawny Cottage sits peacefully on the outskirts of Raglan, surrounded by gentle countryside and a calming sense of space that follows you from the moment you arrive. Ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a rural escape with real character, this charming cottage brings together exposed stonework, soft natural light from Velux windows, and access to adjacent five acres of private woodland. With a stream running through the trees and endless corners to explore, it’s the kind of setting that invites slow mornings and unhurried wanders. Step into an inviting open-plan living space thoughtfully arranged for spending time together.
The well-equipped kitchen makes mealtimes feel easy, whether you’re preparing a hearty brunch or a simple supper after a day outdoors and there are many quality pubs and restaurants to explore locally. Gather around the dining table to swap stories from your adventures, then settle into the sitting area for a relaxed evening. If you’re craving a quieter moment, head into the separate lounge, where the woodburning stove brings a welcoming glow, perfect for nights in with a book or laid-back conversation. Upstairs, three peaceful bedrooms await: a double with its own en-suite walk-in shower, another double with a restful feel, and a single that works perfectly for a younger guest or solo sleeper.
The family bathroom is also found on this floor. A contemporary ground-floor bathroom adds convenience for everyone. Outside, the rear garden offers a blend of lawn and patio, ideal for alfresco meals, morning coffee in the fresh air, or simply listening to the birds in the surrounding trees or the five acres of adjacent woodland. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1183268, together sleeping up to seven guests.
