The small rural village of Llangwm is set deep within the countryside of the Wye Valley and within easy reach of the traditional market towns of Usk and Chepstow which offer a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants. A haven for lovers of the outdoors and thrill seekers, there is easy access into the Wye Valley where you can canoe, climb, fish, and dive, The Forest of Dean for mountain biking and high wire climbs, and The Brecon Beacons for mountains and caves. For a more leisurely stay, there are historic sites, castles, ancient monuments, museums and galleries to explore, including Tredegar House, The Big Pit, Tintern Abbey, and Chepstow Castle, or you could discover the vibrant city of Cardiff. Set in a peaceful location overlooking open countryside, this is a unique opportunity, for the more adventurous traveller to enjoy a stay in a converted DAF army truck. Accessed via wooden steps to the side, the open plan area inside includes a small camping kitchenette with a two ring gas stove, microwave, a sink, a fridge with an ice compartment, toaster and kettle. After a busy day exploring the beautiful Wye Valley and surrounding area, there are two comfortable sofas with a table in the centre where you can relax with a book or watch the wall mounted Smart TV. The sofas are easily converted into a king size bed, and if you have children along with you for the adventure, there are two built in bunk beds that they will love. Complete with a shower room with small sink and WC, the truck has everything you will need. Outside, start your day by taking a seat in the front of the truck, enjoying your morning coffee. There is a covered private terrace housing the wood fired hot tub, with a table and chairs and charcoal BBQ, storage for bikes and canoes, and off road parking for two cars. Need to know: 2 sofas convert to a king size bed, 1 bunk bed suitable for two children only. Shower room with shower and WC. Two ring gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, toaster and kettle. Smart TV in lounge area. Private covered patio with seating and charcoal BBQ. Storage for two bikes. Ample parking for 2 cars. Shop 4 miles and pub 2 miles. Wood fired hot tub please note the hot tub may not be hot on arrival please allow time for it to heat up. Please note the property is not suitable for EV charging.
