This luxury property, a former mission hall, was renovated in 2019 and consists of an open plan living space with a wood burner, Smart TV and patio doors leading to a courtyard area. The Old Chapel is situated in the village of Grosmont, which has its very own castle for history enthusiasts, and there are plenty of other castles nearby, including Skenfrith Castle, 4 miles, and White Castle, 4½ miles. There are plenty of walks to be had from the property as its situated on the Wye Valley, and the River Usk is 9 miles away.
The market town of Abergavenny is 11 miles away and has an abundance of shops, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. It also holds its award-winning food festival every September. For those wanting to visit the historic town of Monmouth, is just a 12-mile drive from the property, and there are some local restaurants and pubs in the surrounding villages. Pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Lovely accommodation very well equipped. Owners very helpful when TV wouldn’t work. It would have been helpful to have exact location of key safe especially in pouring rain. Very comfortable and some nice welcome touches.

On our early arrival we were greeted by the owner who gladly let us in she was friendly and welcoming. The cottage was well set out and had everything you needed, the bed was really comfortable and I slept well every night. The cake and the two bottles of Proseccos were a lovely treat. The only problem was that I couldn’t put my dog Charlie in the garden on his own as he would have got into the road and could have been hurt so to me the garden is not dog friendly, it would help if a small fence and gate were erected so that any dog staying would be safe
