The villages of Pandy (2.5 miles) and Longtown (7 miles) offer traditional village pubs, and further afield you’ll find the foodie town of Abergavenny (9 miles).

A gravelled track across a meadow leads to the beautiful barn conversion, featuring old stone walls and wooden shutters. Inside, discover an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a vaulted ceiling, exposed timber frame, and plenty of glass framing rural views. After a morning of retail therapy, take a stroll along the towpath of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. Alternatively, journey to Llangorse Lake (27 miles) for an afternoon on the water. History enthusiasts will enjoy a trip to LLanthony Priory (10 miles) to admire the atmospheric ruins sitting in the shadows of the Black Mountains.
