About this property

The stunning Whistling Sands Place is a gorgeous getaway for two couples or families wanting to explore the spectacular Llyn Peninsula. Set in idyllic surroundings, less than one mile from the Southwest Coast Path and only one and a half miles from one of the peninsula’s most amazing beaches, you will remember your holiday to Whistling Sands Place for a very long time. Most visitors want to return! This luxurious holiday home has been designed brilliantly with soaring beams and exposed stonework sitting beside state-of-the-art fittings. The variety of materials used at Whistling Sands Place is just magical.

Whistling Sands Place enjoys a fabulous location at the far end of the wonderfully scenic Llyn Peninsula. Rugged cliffs, secret sandy coves, and collages of blue where the big skies meet the sea all offer a world of nature. The Llyn Peninsula is known as ‘Snowdon’s arm’, a wildly beautiful peninsula with a rich culture and heritage, traditional farmsteads, little ports, stunning beaches, and dramatic sea cliffs. Little wonder that this magnificent coast is a protected Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The National Trust’s Whistling Sands, otherwise known as Porthoer Beach, is less than one and half miles from the cottage and the glorious Wales Coast Path is within a mile. The picturesque seaside village of Aberdaron is only three and a half miles away, while Morfa Nefyn is ten and the wonderful Abersoch is eleven miles away. The lovely Aberdaron enjoys charming pubs, restaurants, and shops. Within very easy reach is the sacred Bardsey Island.

This dreamy pad is a haven for hunkering down and spending precious time together with the peninsula’s revered wildernesses on the doorstep. The property is enveloped by an immaculate garden and terrace where you can enjoy a tipple or two as you bask in the golden hour sun.

The stunning open plan living space enjoys a double height aspect in part with lofty beams rising high above you together with exposed stonework. A sumptuously stylish corner sofa arrangement sits under a stunning mezzanine area together with a trendy accent chair and a television mounted on tasteful panelling. On the other side of the room is a super cool contemporary kitchen with outstanding appliances, a sociable island, and your dining area. The country kitchen table and the island have received a striking makeover with splashes of blue paint, complementing the gorgeous grey toned floor tiles, the natural toned kitchen, and the mellow stone walls. This spectacular room is flooded in Welsh sunlight which streams through the doors and windows. These also offer wonderful countryside views. You will be lovely and warm with the underfloor heating keeping your toes toasty. A staircase takes you to the attractive mezzanine where the beams soar above, adding a cathedral air to the charming space. This is a gorgeous gallery room that overlooks the kitchen, an inspiring setting with sea views and the perfect place to disappear to with a glass of wine and your holiday book.

One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor, an absolute stunner with a lavish kingsize bed, adorned with luxury linens and beautiful throws and scatter cushions. The room enjoys a wall-mounted television for lazy lie-ins. This is set within a super cool, industrial style open wardrobe system. The ensuite bathroom features a curved bath and overhead shower. Both bathrooms are totally dreamy with gorgeous tiles and the very best fittings.

The gallery leads to the second bedroom upstairs. This is also stunning with a beautifully dressed kingsize bed, a wall-mounted television, countryside, and sea views and an immaculate ensuite with a large walk-in shower.

Outside you will enjoy a large, enclosed patio and garden with outdoor furniture so that you can enjoy the sunshine, the views, and the stars. A barbecue will be available on request. If you are thinking of sharing your holiday with friends or additional family, we also feature the beautiful Whistling Sands Barn in the same location so you could book both! It also sleeps four guests and is equally stunning.

Whistling Sands Place enjoys an idyllic location at the far end of the glorious Llyn Peninsula.
