Awelfryn is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and stunning views. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the peaceful, quiet setting. The enclosed garden is a hit with pet owners, and the welcome pack is a delightful touch. While the location is slightly out of town, it serves as a great base for exploring the Llyn Peninsula.
Guests consistently mention the spotless condition of the cottage, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes to the overall positive experience.
The location offers amazing views and is a good base for exploring the area, but the lack of walking paths to town and the distance from local amenities slightly affect the convenience.
The cottage is frequently described as comfortable, cosy, and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and a warm atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests.
Facilities are generally praised, including a well-equipped kitchen and spacious outdoor areas. However, a suggestion for an additional sofa and the need to purchase washing up liquid indicate minor room for improvement.
The welcome pack is mentioned as a nice touch, reflecting the owner's thoughtfulness. While this adds to the experience, it is important to note that such gestures may vary and are not guaranteed.

An absolutely lovely cottage. I think though that it needs a 2nd sofa. Other than this it is perfect. The heating system is great and the enclosed garden for our dogs was a massive bonus. There is parking on site and it’s near to the supermarkets. It’s a shame that there is no path to walk to Pwllheli and no local pub. The location is out of town by a mile or so. There are some fantastic local mountain walks, one is about 15 mins by car. We had a small problem to begin with and the owner was incredibly helpful and kind. We loved this cottage. It really is superb!

We had a lovely stay with amazing views. My dogs absolutely loved the garden. The only downside was that we were unable to walk into the town due to there being no paths but overall we have an amazing time and will definitely be back.

Beautiful cottage with amazing views. It’s very well equipped & comfortable. The welcome pack was a really nice touch. Only downside is that the location is a bit out of town off a busy fast road (not much pavement) so a car is required. There is an Aldi 5 mins drive away & Pwlheli town centre not much further. It’s a great base for exploring the Llyn Peninsula.
