Lovely view and everything was a short walk away. Only downsides were the allocated parking space for number 9 was occupied when we arrived (they left a couple of hours later). Also, the lady in number 10 was complaining loudly to someone about our arrival and the fact that we had a dog? (Even though we never saw her and the dog didn’t bark once).

My husband is out most of the day as a volunteer on the railway and so I need to be somewhere close to town and bus routes. This is perfect, a stones throw from the high street but away from any traffic, near bus routes and coffee shops. Porthmadog has an Aldi, Lidl and Tesco so no shortage of places to shop. We will be back in 2024.

I also forgot to leave a note pointing out that one downlighter bulb (nearest lounge door) had failed. Flat was well presented and clean and ideal for us as we'd decided not to bring our dog with us. I'd consider booking again but note that the property is for sale with a local estate agent which may mean any future booking got cancelled if a sale takes place.
