Situated within a ten minute walk to the beautiful sandy Porthdinllaen Beach, and with easy access to the Llyn Coastal Path, this delightful property is ideal for couples, friends and families wishing to spend time together exploring the beautiful coastline of North Wales, with its hidden beaches and coves. Well-equipped and offering comfortable accommodation Fernlea provides a welcoming base, ensuring everyone will enjoy their holiday or break away. The sitting room is comfortable and spacious with a warming woodburning stove, lovely for those chillier evenings with the conservatory enjoying a sunny aspect making it an ideal place to unwind and perhaps read that book youve been promising yourself but never found the time to. A traditional style kitchen with breakfast table is ideal for a quick breakfast before heading out for the day, with a more formal and relaxed dining room for enjoying a late supper while you plan where to visit the next day. The three bedrooms are comfortable, and the main bedroom offers a king-size bed, all serviced by the family bathroom with the welcomed addition of a downstairs cloakroom. Spend long, lazy days on one of the area's lovely beaches, enjoy traversing the scenic coastline, or simply take in the wonderful views, before returning to your lovely cottage to relax and enjoy some alfresco moments outside on the patio. The famous Ty Coch Inn, down on the beach at Porthdinllaen is a great place for a meal you dont want to cook, after all you are on holiday! The small town of Nefyn is nearby, and Abersoch, Pwllheli, and Criccieth with its castle are all within easy reach. The pretty fishing village of Aberdaron, worthy of a visit particularly to see the small National Trust property of Plas Yn Rhiw, and Whistling Sands, are short drives away. A little further afield a visit to Porthmadog is a must, home to the famous Ffestiniog Railway or perhaps visit the Italianate village and gardens of Portmeirion and the World Heritage Site of Caernarfon. With the whole of the spectacular Llyn Peninsula on the doorstep, plus a superb 27-hole golf course not too far away, Fernlea is ideally located for a fabulous holiday or break away, anytime throughout the year.
The pretty coastal village of Morfa Nefyn sits atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, and features a fine two-mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families. Morfa Nefyn, has a Post Office, a village shop with a cafe, and a pub/restaurant. The nearby town of Nefyn also offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and both are within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch.

It was very spacious, warm, modern and bright. We found the layout very practical and it was lovely to have plenty of comfortable chairs and good bed mattresses. It was great to be just 10 minutes walk from our favourite beach, and so handy to have the good garage shop just 5 minutes walk away. The good WiFi was appreciated as the weather was a mixed bag - but expected that for March. The garden was lovely and secure for our Jack Russell. We would like to visit again and would thoroughly recommend it to family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful holiday home.

It is very well equipped, warm and has extremely comfortable beds( hard to drag yourselves out of them), at first it felt like you were intruding into someones house, because there are pictures of family all around and considerable amount of food in the cupboards but we soon settled in. The few issues we had were leaking in the conservatory and cleanliness slightly let it down, especially around the floors on arrival and damp mouldy areas around some windows and grouting. The parking for 2 cars ( maybe 3 small ones) was a welcome addition and the fact that it allowed our 2 well behaved dogs was great. Overall great cottage, great location, just needs attention to a few areas and wouldn't hesitate to return in future. Also found it strange to have been left no Welcome pack of any description ( always had a pack left everywhere else, no matter how small with just few essentials) Thanks

Very conveniently situated near to shops, pub and beach. The only minor problems we encountered were that the shower riser rail was broken leading to contortions having a shower and the freezer needs defrosting which lead to water leaking onto the kitchen floor, both common problems with holiday rental properties. We would certainly consider revisiting Fearnlea in the future.
