The property's character and homeliness are highlighted, with a special mention of the cosy upstairs room. While some guests mention issues with heating and a musty smell upon arrival, the overall experience is one of enjoyment and a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews indicate a range of experiences with cleanliness. Some guests found the property very clean, while others reported issues with mustiness, mould, and dead insects. The utility room's cleanliness was specifically mentioned as lacking.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to the coastal path, and beautiful views. Guests find it ideal for walks and appreciate the rural setting.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with guests finding the property warm and welcoming, and beds comfortable. However, some discomfort was noted due to a musty smell and issues with heating.

Facilities are adequate with a well-stocked kitchen and lovely wood burners, though some guests had difficulties with heating controls and found the burners inefficient. Maintenance issues such as non-working sockets and a lack of outdoor furniture were also mentioned.

There is insufficient information to score thoughtfulness accurately. While a welcome pack of Welshcakes was mentioned positively, there is no consistent reference to gifts or additional thoughtful touches across the reviews.

The pretty coastal village of Morfa Nefyn sits atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, and features a fine two-mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families. Morfa Nefyn, meaning little Nefyn, has a Post Office, a wonderful village shop with a cafe, two pubs and restaurants. The nearby town of Nefyn also offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and both are within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch. The Snowdonia National Park is 25 miles away, with its dramatic scenery and superb walks. Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches, cliffs, and wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore. The views are incredible. Garden was excellent, would be great if the rear square bit was able to be closed in so dogs could not easily escape.

The utility room kitchen and dining room layout made things a bit awkward at times.

We loved the decor and particularly the upstairs room, cosy and relaxing with fantastic views (including buzzards flying over the garden)The local area is brilliant for walks and wildlife and can recommend coast path to porthdinlaen, mynydd mawr (good place to see choughs), Yr Eifl and hill fort at Tre'r Ceiri, Aberglaslyn to Beddgelert and the Glaslyn ospreys. Thanks for really enjoyable holiday.
