It’s a space designed for shared moments, from preparing simple meals to lingering at the table or settling into the sofa with the TV after time spent outdoors. Natural light filters in, keeping the connection to the surrounding landscape close throughout the day. The lodge offers two bedrooms, one double and one twin, making it well-suited to couples, friends, or a small family. Each room is simply arranged, offering a practical retreat after days filled with woodland walks or lakeside wandering. Completing the interior is a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, ideal for refreshing after time outside.

Beyond the decking, the wider grounds invite exploration. The 6‑acre lake is a focal point throughout the year, popular with anglers and edged by trees that attract a variety of wildlife. The surrounding woodland offers space to wander, pause, and enjoy being immersed in nature. For days out, explore Criccieth with its coastal character and castle views, head to Pwllheli for harbour walks and relaxed places to eat, or visit Porthmadog for cafés, shops, and a lively coastal feel. However you choose to spend your break, Lodge 8 - Bron Eifion offers a welcoming base shaped by lake, woodland, and coast.

Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, now known as Eryri, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th-century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Eryri mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Eryri National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
