About this property

This magnificent townhouse is situated right on the beach in the delightful North Wales town of Criccieth on the Llyn Peninsula. Situated over the top three floors of a four storey terraced townhouse, this Criccieth cottage is perfect for a holiday next to the beach or for a family get together to celebrate that special event. With many rooms boasting uninterrupted sea views (including from the en-suite shower room), this North Wales cottage has four spacious bedrooms spread over the top two floors. Luxuriate in the master super king-size bedroom, or relax in the sumptuous third floor bathroom with its freestanding, claw-footed bath; a wonderful way to relax after a day spent building sandcastles. On the first floor is a well-equipped fitted kitchen along with a spacious and comfortable sitting room where you can sit and watch the world go by, whether on land or on the water, and you may even get to spot the dolphins in the bay. A small front patio has a picnic bench where you can enjoy your morning coffee before heading into town to see the sights. Discover the superb Criccieth Castle which sits on a headland just a couple of minutes’ walk from your Welsh holiday home, or enjoy a spot of lunch in one of the many cafes and tea rooms in the town. Criccieth is home not only to an extensive beach, which has a dog-friendly section all year round, but there are also a wide range of activities that will keep the younger members of your party amused; visit the local children’s playground or have a round on the pitch-and-putt. This part of the North Wales coast is home to a fabulous array of places to visit. Spend a day in nearby Porthmadog, where you can journey back in time on a steam train. Visit the stunning Italianate village of Portmeirion to see where The Prisoner was filmed, or pop down to Harlech to have a round of golf at the Royal St Davids Golf Club. Along the Llyn Peninsula, you can discover the traditional seaside resort of Pwllheli and the watersports centre at Abersoch, both just short drives from your Criccieth cottage. Whatever you choose to do, your Criccieth holiday home will ensure that you have a sophisticated and memorable holiday, all year round.

Often referred to as one of Wales's hidden gems, the seaside town of Criccieth is just five miles from picturesque Porthmadog. With an impressive 13th century castle set on a dramatic rocky outcrop, the town possesses an imposing skyline and superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains.

We had such an amazing time as a large family over New year. Lots of walks, swims in the sea. The home was well stocked for us to cook and eat for a large group. Everything we could have wanted and more. Would absolutely recommend.

Easy walking distance to all facilities in Criccieth. Sea views stunning. Good value. Friendly host. Would recommend. Beware of low ceilings on the upper floor. Three grandsons were over 6 ft so struggled a bit!

Totally cleaned and well aired on arrival. Quiet and a great setting both for adults to gaze out at the sea and children to run across to the beach. Only slight faults were that the rubbish recycling boxes clogged up the otherwise very useful hallway and were awkward getting in and out on collection days - could out at the back and then there'd be more room for rows of hooks to dry coats on?
