I like to think that I write a true and honest review on all the properties that we stay in. We absolutely loved this cottage, lovely welcome pack on arrival, it's just a shame that it is let down by the cleanliness in some places. It is much bigger inside than the photos show, lovely open plan lounge/kitchen with washer/dryer but no iron or ironing board or clothes line for guests who might only take a few clothes & want to be able to wash & wear again whilst there, the lounge has the most incredible views you can imagine but the glass on the inside of all the French doors were full of dirty marks so I ended up washing them as they spoiled the views, there is a full size fridge freezer which had HUGE icebergs at the back of the fridge shelves so I had to defrost it before we could fit our food in there, plenty of storage in the kitchen cupboards but could do with a few more baking trays etc, bathroom was lovely and clean with good powerful shower but had to wash the towels as they were full of what looked like tumble dryer fluff and a few hairs & yes the shower cubicle is on the small side but we are average size and did not have a problem at all with it. Both bedrooms only have 7 double coat hooks on the wall for your clothes and no chest of draws only small bedside draw, it would be much better with a wardrobe and chest of draws in the bigger bedroom, there was just the 2 of us so we used the small bedroom too for storage, I had to wash the bedding on our bed as this also was covered in tumble dryer fluff & a few hairs, I knocked one of my belongings under our bed & my husband had to retrieve it for me and he said it was really thick with dust under the bed so I ended up hoovering under the bed too. The parking may be a bit tight for some as you need to jiggle about to get parked at the back of the property but my husband didn't have a problem with it but some might. The hot tub was fabulous and spotless but because it had been emptied it wasn't up to temp for first night which we didn't mind at all as its only to be expected when its been cleaned and refilled but we used it every day after it was pure bliss sat in it looking out to sea and at night looking at the stars . The worse thing though was all the dog hairs on and under the sofa cushions YUK ! hence to say you guessed it, I ended up hoovering the one that we sat on to get rid of them all as it was really bad, the lovely manager James that met us there did actually say that some guests had been allowing a small dog that lives down the lane into the property and asked us not too, it is bang out of order for guests to let the dog inside when they know its a pet free property especially for any guests with allergies. So despite spending the first couple of hours cleaning & washing we still loved this property as it was fabulous inside and outside just let down by the cleanliness.
